Hi! I'm Tracey Stones. We might have met, but I probably don't remember your name. I started blogging about a decade ago and a few months into my journey I zeroed in on the local music scene from my home base in New Bern, NC. Before long we were riding to the coast and throughout the state stopping at new places and meeting bands.

 

This is Volume II of the blog. Established April, 2024.

My goal is still musically the same. I wish to connect people to music. I do it with a camera and a computer. I believe music lifts the spirit and we all need more of that! Given that, I always want to get up close and personal with the local music scene throughout North Carolina so that readers know where to seek out the people and places that are playing and supporting live music.

Years ago, I chased the dream of being a music journalist. After raising my son, I turned back to the passion I once loved and created a blog site to support the pictures I take and the places I go.
