The Strawberry Festival is in happening today. The festivities for the day include a parade at 10 am. The music soon follows the parade. Today's schedule according to the site is as follows:

10am: Parade starts on Main Street

12:00pm: Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road
6:30pm: A documentary by Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road will be showing inside Vanceboro Global Methodist Church along with a short performance by the band.
The Live Music on the festival grounds start after the parade.
Our main performance will be by the chart topping bluegrass band
Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road. They will be taking the stage at Noon (12pm).
Opening the festival on the main stage after the parade will be the Band We Are _____ playing Contemporary Christian originals and covers of Anne Wilson, We The Kingdom, Katy Nichole & more.
In Greenville's Recreation and Parks is hosting a free event that will be fun for the whole family at Wildwood Park, 3450 Blue Heron Dr., today from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be plenty of beer food and music to enjoy at this first annual BBQ Blues & Brews Festival Shannon Baker & Sometime Soon will kick the music off at noon. Built For Comfort take to the stage at 2:30 and closing out the day will be Elonzo Wesley at 5 pm.

The Ol Front Porch Music Festival is a two day event which takes place in Oriental, NC each fall. This year the event will be held October 4-5, 2024. Though the festival is months away, many around the harbor town are getting ready for the fall event now.
The Silo's Restaurant is hosting an event today to raise money for the fall festival. Today's event is essentially free but there will be people on site to accept your donations. There will be food to enjoy. Proceeds from the food sales are being donated to the popular town event. Performing for the cause, on stage at the Red Rooster from 5:30-9 pm, The Southern Hellcats.
